Our take on Only UP
The focus on vertical traversal gives the game a narrow activity loop: climbing, jumping, vehicle movement, and puzzle solving carry most of the experience. Players seeking varied combat systems or multiplayer interaction will find those trade-offs built into its structure.
What is Only UP?
Play as Violeta in a third-person climbing adventure set on a remote island beside the sea.
Reach the summit by navigating obstacles and making precise jumps while searching for Camilo and investigating why he was taken into the sky. Robot Gedor provides tools and assistance during puzzle sections. Violeta can use Time-Jump to return to a chosen location, and vehicles offer another way to move through the climbing routes. The game is presented as a single-player experience, with progression built around ascent, environmental challenges, puzzle solving, and the search for Violeta’s missing companion.
