Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long individual character arc may find the one-hour lifespan limiting

- Players looking for a small crafting system may not want more than 4,400 craftable objects
Our take on One Hour One Life
The generational structure gives up individual continuity: each character's life lasts one hour, so civilization develops through successive players rather than one persistent protagonist. Progress therefore depends on what later generations do with earlier work.
What is One Hour One Life?
This multiplayer survival game links players through one-hour lives and successive generations.
Each minute represents a year. Players enter as newborns assigned to another player as a mother, depend on that player to survive, and may later raise babies who are other players. Together, generations rebuild civilization from wilderness by making tools, preparing food, farming, managing resources, and developing technology. Progress can reach domesticated animals, metalworking, buildings, engines, transport, electronics, photography, and interplanetary travel. The game includes more than 4,400 interactive craftable objects and 2,400 hand-drawn sprites. Purchase includes a lifetime account on centrally managed official servers, along with source code, server code, a content editor, and private-server capability.
