Our take on Isles of Yore
The defining structure is survival from an animal's perspective: players manage daily needs while sharing an island with both other players and AI wildlife.
What is Isles of Yore?
Isles of Yore is a multiplayer simulation where players live as prehistoric animals on an island.
Choose from several carnivores and a herbivore, then manage hunger, thirst, and stamina while exploring jungles, swamps, and open areas. Player combat is available, and AI animals also inhabit the island, including migrating herbivores and hunting carnivores. Players can customize patterns, colors, and skin types, and use a talent tree to specialize their animal. The island has a day-and-night cycle and variable weather that can affect visibility and shelter needs. Players can group and chat, or host custom servers with adjustable gameplay settings; some configuration options are currently deprecated during a system revamp.
