Our take on Oil Baron
The adventure framing leaves the game centered on a focused extraction-and-sales cycle: locate a source, install equipment, move oil to market, and choose when to sell. Progression adds improvements, but the main activity remains operational and repetitive.
What is Oil Baron?
Manage oil extraction across seven locations with different tasks and atmospheres.
Sources shrink while rigs operate. Fill buckets with 15 units of oil and choose when to sell as the rate changes. Each sale grants 15 experience points, and level increases provide gameplay improvements. The game also includes achievements, music, two language options, and a full-screen control.
