Our take on OH! RPG!
Rather than following victorious heroes, the game puts failed characters and NPCs at the center. Its eight chapters replace a single protagonist and continuous campaign with changing viewpoints, settings, and gameplay structures tied to the heroes’ defeat.
What is OH! RPG!?
OH!
RPG! reverses the usual hero-focused RPG structure by placing players in the roles of NPCs and other characters connected to failed heroes. The adventure is divided into eight chapters, each with its own protagonist, atmosphere, gameplay style, and optional content. Battles use “Hero Calls”: four heroes remain outside combat but can be summoned to perform a single move shaped by their story location. Players collect materials to improve weapons, armor, and potions, then replay stages to raise performance ratings. Overall results contribute to a global ranking and can unlock additional content. The game also includes skills referencing RPG Maker history, Steam Achievements, Steam Trading Cards, and support for mouse, keyboard, and controllers.
