The game combines deduction, exploration, alchemy and combat in each session. That breadth trades a tightly focused play loop for several systems to manage, while hidden allegiances make progress depend partly on interpreting other players.
What is October Night Games?
October Night Games is a digital board experience for one to six participants, centered on two rival cults.
The Changers pursue sweeping change, while the Keepers oppose them, leaving players to identify each faction’s members. Matches blend teamwork and rivalry as players investigate the town, graveyard, and hollow. They gather tainted ingredients, conduct rituals, prepare alchemical essences, and use dice-driven combat against ghouls and townspeople. Characters and familiars grant distinct abilities, while damage to health, sanity, or reputation carries consequences. Each session creates new characters, familiars, loyalties, and narrative events through random generation. The Freezing Moon update introduces a quicker mode with greater intensity and difficulty.
