Our take on New York Bus Simulator
Rather than treating transport simulation as a quiet vehicle-control exercise, the game frames one bus driver’s working day as the main structure. A named, controllable character, animated passengers, changing conditions, walkable streets, and radio give the route a more personal, event-filled presentation.
What is New York Bus Simulator?
New York Bus Simulator places the player in the role of Carlos, a bus driver operating Manhattan’s M42 route between the Hudson and East rivers along 42nd Street.
The complete route and adjoining streets are available from the start, apart from the tutorial. Gameplay follows the original timetable and includes varied tasks connected with a bus driver’s working day. Players can drive the Nova RTS T 80-260 bus, walk through the city area, operate a simulated cockpit, and use exterior or mirror views. Traffic, weather, time of day, and passenger movement change during play. The game also includes spoken passenger output, an editable vehicle fleet, and a virtual radio station with more than 43 tracks.
