The hand-drawn action-adventure unfolds in a dreamlike setting filled with monsters, increasingly violent adults, and children searching for their mothers. Players investigate screams from Blackfork Asylum, explore six illustrated levels ranging from Red Wind Field to the asylum, and seek the strange truth about Peet’s past. Combat uses a baseball bat against bosses, monsters, and hostile grown-ups. Peet’s childhood friends and pet bird join the adventure, accompanied by a piano-centered soundtrack.
