NeonXSZ is a mouse-and-keyboard space combat game centered on high-speed, zero-gravity dogfighting.
Ships can turn instantly and strafe in every direction, while loot, purchases, and upgrades support different combat builds. The open world contains nearly one thousand persistent enemies from four factions, with procedurally generated intelligence and skills. Players can explore freely or enter dozens of handcrafted challenge arenas. Enemy equipment determines the parts dropped after combat, making loot predictable by opponent. The game offers more than 100 hours of gameplay and content, dozens of customizable ships, adjustable enemy behavior and damage, and a game-speed slider. Progression involves experimentation, exploration, leveling, and reaching the Gatekeeper deep inside the machine.
