Saves you a refund- Players seeking action-focused gameplay may find the experience centered on reading and dialogue.

- Players looking for a broad RPG with combat or character-building systems may find the described focus too narrow.
Our take on Neo Cab
The mood-driven dialogue gives the story a changing set of choices, but it also limits control: as Lina’s emotions intensify, some options disappear. That trade-off puts more emphasis on managing conversations than on choosing freely from a stable dialogue menu.
What is Neo Cab?
Neo Cab is a visual novel about Lina, the last human cab driver, working her first night on the streets of Los Ojos while searching for her missing friend, Savy.
Driving brings Lina into contact with passengers whose stories provide clues, but conversations can be difficult to navigate. Passenger interactions affect Lina’s mood: as her emotions intensify, some dialogue choices become unavailable and others open up. The story branches as Lina balances honesty, empathy, and her emotional health while trying to earn cash and find somewhere to sleep. Passenger stories are written by Leigh Alexander, Kim Belair, Bruno Dias, Duncan Fyfe, Paula Rogers, and Robin Sloan. The game also features an original soundtrack by Obfusc.
