Necrophoresis is a horror investigation game set in a haunted morgue, supporting online co-op for 1–4 players.
Teams search the morgue for items and clues, investigate its hidden secrets, and work together to escape. Players can also attempt the investigation alone, although the single-player mode is presented as a demanding option. The game includes hiding and running as ways to respond to danger. Each playthrough changes, so finding a route out requires attention during every investigation. In co-op, the objective is for the group to get out together rather than simply explore the location.
