Our take on Motherboard Under Attack
The component theme is more than visual dressing: each tower has a stated combat or resource role. But the campaign description gives one specific unlock condition—wave 25 in stage 1—while leaving the structure of later stages at the level of new challenges and objectives.
What is Motherboard Under Attack?
Motherboard Under Attack is a turn-based tower defense game about protecting a computer motherboard from waves of viruses.
Players collect solder, the in-game currency, then place electronic components as defense towers and manage their positions and upgrades. Towers include a diode for fast attacks on ground enemies, a capacitor with slow but high-damage shots, and an oscillator that generates solder. Virus types include flying enemies, a worm that disables towers temporarily, and a boss that attacks them. Batteries unlock Bronze, Silver, and Gold tower levels, with visual changes and new powers. The campaign unlocks stages based on performance: reaching wave 25 in stage 1 opens stage 2, whose challenges include unique objectives.
