Our take on Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock
The focus on repairing the ship and uncovering Deadrock’s mystery gives the adventure a concentrated narrative shape, but leaves less room for combat variety or broad exploration. Its remastered presentation adds scenes, puzzles, voice acting, and updated cinematics without changing that central structure.
What is Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock?
Powell is stranded on Deadrock after a work-for-hire mission goes wrong.
With one crew member dead and the captain badly injured, he must repair the Morningstar and find a way out of the planet’s gravity well. The planet also holds the wreckage of a larger vessel, whose crew died under suspicious circumstances. The adventure follows Powell as he investigates what happened and searches for a means of escape.
