Our take on Moonbreaker
The turn-based skirmish format favors deliberate unit management over continuous action, so players seeking uninterrupted real-time combat give up that pace for tactical decision-making.
What is Moonbreaker?
Moonbreaker is a turn-based tactical strategy game built around digital miniature-style skirmishes.
Players direct Captains and Units in matches against other players or AI, or enter Boss Run, a single-player roguelike adventure. Each Unit has distinct abilities, playstyles, and personalities, allowing different Roster combinations and team setups. The game also includes digital painting tools for customizing Units, with functions such as undo, masking, and zooming. Its science-fiction setting, The Reaches, is presented through audio dramas, voiced in-game dialogue, and an unlockable Codex containing lore. Developed by Unknown Worlds, Moonbreaker combines competitive play, solo content, crew customization, and narrative material within its turn-based format.
