Our take on MOBIUS BAND*
Its novella format concentrates on a single narrative arc, but that focus leaves less room for broad exploration and extended world development than a larger game might provide.
What is MOBIUS BAND*?
MOBIUS BAND* is a novella-style visual novel set after World War III and the experimental use of quantum technology.
The story takes place during a new Cold War, as the CES grows amid crime, widening inequality, and religious conflict. Citizens are monitored through implanted government chips, while arrested suspects and foreign spies face publicly broadcast executions. In 2054, soldier Lilia Seth is assigned to protect Philia von Kristian, a visitor from the Federal Republic of Frank. An accident during the mission leads Lilia to question her own existence. The narrative focuses on surveillance, political tension, public punishment, and the effects of technological change.
