Our take on Mindcop
The defining constraint is the five-day murder investigation: every action consumes time, turning the choice of leads into the central structure of the case.
What is Mindcop?
Mindcop is a non-linear detective adventure set in Merrylin Crater Camp after a murder.
The investigation gives the Mindcop five days to identify the killer among the inhabitants. Actions consume time, so deciding which leads to pursue shapes the investigation. The Mindcop can enter a suspect’s mind through a real-time puzzle sequence. Completing it opens access to that person’s Sea of Thoughts, where clues and conversation topics can be found. These discoveries support attempts to uncover secrets, expose lies, and determine the true suspect. The game combines story-driven investigation with puzzle gameplay and includes two possible endings. Mindcop was made by solo developer Andre Gareis.
