AdventureIs Granny: Chapter Two worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Horror-game players who enjoy searching enclosed spaces for items and escape routes.
- Stealth players who want to manage noise while evading pursuing characters.
- Players who prefer escape challenges with selectable difficulty and a practice mode.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want combat to resolve threats; the two weapon types only stop the pursuers temporarily.
- Players who dislike time pressure may hit a wall at the five-day escape deadline.
- Players looking for a broad exploration setting may find the challenge centered on one house and its sewer route.
Our take on Granny: Chapter Two
The five-day limit is the clearest pressure point: players who search slowly or repeatedly miss the items needed for the locked door may run out of attempts. Practice mode removes Granny and Grandpa, but other dangers remain, so it does not remove every obstacle.
What is Granny: Chapter Two?
Granny: Chapter Two is a first-person escape game set in Grandpa’s house.
Search the building for items to open the locked main door, while avoiding Granny, who reacts to dropped objects and creaking floors, and Grandpa, who patrols but has poor hearing and will pursue the player if he spots them. Bear traps and a creature in the back of the house add hazards. Hiding places include beds and wardrobes, though hiding does not guarantee safety if Granny or Grandpa sees the player. A second escape route runs through the sewer: start an old boat and open the gate.
Two weapon types can temporarily stop the pursuers. The game offers five difficulty levels, including Practice mode, where Granny and Grandpa are absent but other dangers remain. Escape must happen within five days.
How Granny: Chapter Two plays
- 01Two escape routes
- The main door requires finding items for its locks; an alternative route uses a boat and gate in the sewer.
- 02Sound-based pursuit
- Granny runs toward noises such as dropped objects and creaking floorboards, while Grandpa relies more on sight.
- 03Five difficulty levels
- Practice mode removes Granny and Grandpa but leaves other hazards in the house.
- 04Temporary weapons
- Two kinds of weapons can stop Granny and Grandpa for a limited time.
