Our take on Malpractice
Rather than centering on solo survival or combat, Malpractice frames the hospital escape as a shared puzzle-solving task. Its proximity chat also extends communication beyond a pre-formed group.
What is Malpractice?
Malpractice is an online co-op horror game for up to 4 players.
Players wake in a hospital under lockdown as a virus spreads and search for a way out while avoiding infected, mutated creatures. The escape involves solving puzzles, finding clues, and uncovering secrets about the outbreak. An inventory system lets players gather and share key items, tools, and weapons. Proximity voice chat supports communication with nearby players, including people outside a friend group. The vendor says each playthrough can present a new set of challenges, drawing on a large collection of puzzles.
How Malpractice plays

- 02Proximity voice chat
- Players can communicate with nearby participants, including people beyond their friends.
- 03Variable puzzle runs
