Our take on The Other Side
Rather than treating paranormal horror as a solitary escape experience, the game centers on shared investigation work. Evidence collection, equipment distribution, voice communication, and artifact destruction make team coordination the main structure, while headquarters and vehicle customization add progression outside each location.
What is The Other Side?
The Other Side is a cooperative paranormal investigation game for one to six players.
Teams investigate haunted locations, gather evidence, observe entity behavior, and complete contract objectives. Equipment and environmental tools support activity tracking and entity identification. After identifying an entity, players enter its characteristics into the Spectral Affixer, locate artifacts binding it to the site, and destroy them to cleanse the location. Proximity-based voice chat supports local coordination, including communication with fallen teammates through a spirit box. Players can share equipment and coordinate loadouts. Contracts provide money for customizing characters, vehicles, headquarters, and loadouts. Larger vehicles can carry more items into investigations, while locations offer different layouts, environmental details, and challenges.
