What is Maiden and Spell?
Maiden and Spell is a magical-girl battle game with one-on-one aerial combat.
Choose from eight maidens, each with distinct spells and abilities, and fight a friend in Versus Mode or progress through Story Mode against successive opponents and bullet-hell bosses. Combat centers on firing spells and dodging incoming attacks, with button-activated abilities rather than combo inputs, grabs, melee attacks, or blocking. Story Mode includes more than 70 attack patterns to overcome, and optional challenges and unlockables add further tests. Online battles include lobbies and rollback. The setting follows young adventurers exploring the Great Circle, a dungeon associated with the lost Kingdom of Stars.
