Our take on Mage and Monsters
The defining choice happens around an automatically fighting army: players decide whether to invest in troop strength or spell power, while spells remain usable during battle.
What is Mage and Monsters?
Mage and Monsters is an active auto battler where an army fights automatically while spells can be used in battle.
Players choose whether to strengthen their troops or increase spell power. The game has 8 mages with individual bonuses and starting spells, plus 2 combat-focused mages. Recruit from 25 units and fight 35 kinds of monsters, using 11 spells to support the army. The arena and forest each contain 30 regular levels followed by 5 endgame levels. A cave map instead features random enemies on each level. Playing earns Blood Shards, which can be spent on Power Ups before a new game begins.
