Our take on Madville+
Rather than centering a campaign or extended exploration, the game uses compact arena runs built around card combinations, random effects, and repeated replay. Its auto-aim and auto-shoot option also shifts the usual twin-stick expectation toward a more hands-off survival format.
What is Madville+?
Madville+ combines rogue-lite progression with arena-shooter combat in runs built around 30–40 minute sessions.
Players improve a character through cards, combine decks to increase their effects, and use guns with add-ons and passive bonuses. Seven classes offer different abilities, including Bouncer, Carpenter, Scientist, Farmer, Survivalist, Gambler, and Indie Game Developer. Alien enemies, dice, random effects, and unusual challenges add variation between runs. An auto-aim and auto-shoot toggle supports either twin-stick-style control or a more casual arena-survival approach.
