Our take on Mad Digger
The defining detail is the oxygen-limited descent: every attempt to reach the buried treasure requires balancing underground time with mineral collection and equipment improvements.
What is Mad Digger?
Mad Digger is a mining game about reaching treasure hidden beneath a former mine.
The descent is limited by oxygen, so minerals gathered underground can be used to improve the pickaxe and oxygen tank. A drill speeds through the upper layers while collecting resources. Grenades clear small areas and preserve useful blocks, including resources and oxygen. Dynamite affects a wider area and allows faster progress, but destroys items in its path. RadWater temporarily makes the digger 10 times faster and stronger. The objective is to keep descending, manage the available oxygen, collect materials, and use upgraded tools and explosives to reach the treasure.
How Mad Digger plays
- 01Oxygen management
- Tank upgrades extend the time the digger can remain underground.
- 02Resource upgrades
- Minerals collected during digging can improve the pickaxe, oxygen tank, and other equipment.
- 03Explosive digging
- Grenades preserve useful contents in their blast area, while dynamite clears more ground but destroys resources it hits.
- 04Temporary power boost
- RadWater increases the digger's strength and speed by 10 times while active.
