Our take on Luminosity
Its defining structure is territorial capture: the spaceship closes off map areas around enemy drones until enough territory is claimed to destroy them.
What is Luminosity?
Luminosity is an arcade score-attack game in which a spaceship captures enough map territory around enemy drones to destroy them.
Enemy numbers and challenges increase during play, with varied opponents and environments. Arcade mode uses randomly generated backgrounds and levels, while the campaign contains 36 levels. Players can select from 10 spaceships, with 6 available immediately and 4 earned through campaign progress; each ship has different strengths and weaknesses. Progression includes a permanent upgrade store funded by currency earned during play. The game also includes split-screen multiplayer for two players, touch controls, global leaderboards, Steam achievements, trading cards, and statistics. Arcade mode has no stated endpoint, and its levels are randomly generated.
