Our take on LONE RUIN
The emphasis on repeated combat runs and spell construction limits the space for slower exploration and story progression. Reaching the ruin’s center and surviving escalating encounters take priority over a broader set of activities.
What is LONE RUIN?
LONE RUIN is a spell-focused roguelike twin-stick shooter set in a ruined magical city.
An explorer enters the corrupted settlement to find an ancient source of power at its center. Combat takes place across several distinct areas against mutated creatures and multiple bosses. During each run, players choose a route, select spells, and use upgrades and customization options to shape a magical setup. The game also includes Survival mode, a timed challenge built around successive enemy waves and rising difficulty. Its setting follows a former civilization whose inhabitants were transformed by the magic that once sustained and changed them.
How LONE RUIN plays
