Our take on LIVE A LIVE
Its defining structure is seven separate hero stories set in different eras, with chapters playable in any order and progress maintained independently.
What is LIVE A LIVE?
LIVE A LIVE is an RPG following seven heroes across seven time periods, from prehistory and the Wild West to the near and distant future.
Each chapter centers on a distinct protagonist, including a tribesman, outlaw, kung fu master, shinobi, martial artist, psychic youth, or robot. Chapters can be played in any order and progressed in parallel, with separate saves available when switching between them. The remake uses an HD-2D visual style and includes remastered music by Yoko Shimomura. A demo covers the opening parts of three chapters and can transfer its save data to the full game through Steam Cloud.
