Our take on Light Fantastik
The two-world design trades visual clarity and consistent movement for route-based puzzles: the darker side offers higher jumps but makes less of the maze visible. That choice gives each transition a practical cost instead of serving as a simple alternate map.
What is Light Fantastik?
Light Fantastik is a puzzle platformer set across a maze and its mirrored counterpart.
A small square-shaped character travels between the two versions of the world, where darkness inverts the controls: jumping reaches greater heights, but visibility is reduced. Progress requires choosing which side of the maze offers the right route. The journey includes portals, strange creatures, and story elements about a sickness affecting the character’s village. Five unusual characters introduce new mechanics. The game includes 60 main levels, 10 additional difficult stages, a level editor, controller support, and music created by the developer.
