Our take on Life's Playground
The board changes between games and after each circuit, while the streets remain fixed. That changing layout is the defining structural choice, with jobs, life events, cards, mini-games, and street upgrades layered onto it.
What is Life's Playground?
Life's Playground is a board game combining mechanics associated with Monopoly, Life, and PayDay.
Each game generates a different board layout, while the streets remain consistent; the layout also changes on each trip around the board. Players can take on hundreds of jobs and encounter hundreds of short life scenarios, play six mini-games, draw from more than 200 Fate cards, and use Fortune Points in different ways. Street owners can buy up to three randomly generated upgrades, increasing the payment required when opponents land there. The game supports one to four human or CPU-controlled players through hotseat play. It uses 1024x768 resolution and has an old-timey presentation with music and graphics.
