Our take on LEGO® Bricktales
The likely sticking point is the construction-spot system: each challenge starts with a supplied set of bricks, and functional builds must work within the physics puzzle. Players who want unrestricted building throughout may bounce when they reach those constraints; Sandbox Mode unlocks only after a spot is completed.
What is LEGO® Bricktales?
LEGO® Bricktales is a puzzle adventure about helping a grandfather repair his amusement park.
Players travel through five diorama biomes and a park hub, assist local characters, and collect happiness crystals. At construction spots, each puzzle provides a set of bricks for a build, including functional physics-based tasks such as making a crane or gyrocopter and decorative projects such as a music box. Completing a spot unlocks Sandbox Mode for rebuilding with additional bricks. The story also unlocks skills that open further exploration, while collectibles can be exchanged for wardrobe items or brick color sets. Players can customize amusement park rides and create a minifigure from available parts, with more character options becoming available during the story.
