Our take on Slackline VR
Rather than using the usual action-game focus on combat or traversal abilities, this game centers each level on keeping balance while crossing a slackline. Its challenge is physical control with the VR controllers, with practice available outside the standard and easy completion tracking.
What is Slackline VR?
Slackline VR is a virtual reality balancing game based on crossing slacklines over settings such as rocks, trees, water, and buildings.
It has 6 levels: Canyon, Island, City, Temple, Forest, and Mountain. Players use controllers to adjust their balance, raising one hand and lowering the other to counter a fall. Keeping the controllers apart supports balance, and buttons control starting, retrying, and navigating the menus. A training mode provides a place to practice. The game tracks level completions separately for standard and easy modes, and an optional indicator shows when the player is balanced before movement begins. Challenges offer cosmetic rewards for completion.
