Our take on Last Floor
Puzzle-focused players may hit the wall when they discover that the game has no puzzles; progress instead centers on finding exits or fighting appliances. Those expecting a broader setting may also find the apartment floors a narrow scope.
What is Last Floor?
Last Floor follows an ordinary engineer trapped in a high-rise after the building changes into an unfamiliar place.
Reaching the ground by stairs or elevator is not possible, so the escape route runs through the floors. The building’s electricity has become a source of alien energy that animates household appliances, which attack the resident. Each floor presents a challenge: find an exit or fight an enraged appliance such as a teapot or hairdryer. The game features distinct apartment interiors, responsive controls, atmospheric music and close combat. The vendor also specifies that it has no flashlight or puzzles.
