Our take on Knights of the Sky
The defining structure is a 16-pilot hunt: reports and navigation direct the campaign toward successive aerial challenges, turning historical pursuit into the central play format.
What is Knights of the Sky?
Knights of the Sky is a World War I aerial-combat simulation about tracking 16 German pilots, including Baron Manfred von Richthofen.
News reports, intelligence, and personal judgment guide the search for these opponents. The game includes 20 aircraft representing the major fighters of the war. Its maps show trenches, roads, cities, aerodromes, anti-aircraft guns, and other battlefield locations. Missions can involve tasks such as attacking German reconnaissance balloons or pursuing enemy aircraft. Aerial encounters are presented through 13 three-dimensional perspectives. The campaign frames each confrontation as a test of who deserves recognition as World War I’s leading ace.
