Our take on Klepto
Rather than treating crime as a purely linear stealth challenge, the game combines burglary with open-world sandbox neighborhoods, contracts, multiplayer cooperation, and a police-versus-robbers mode. Its role-switching structure lets players serve as either criminals or neighborhood protectors.
What is Klepto?
Klepto is a burglary simulation set across open-world sandbox neighborhoods.
In single-player sandbox mode, players explore homes, use lockpicking and safe-cracking tools, and loot properties. Contracts provide a criminal progression route, while online multiplayer supports cooperative play and a Cops & Robbers mode in which players serve and protect neighborhoods. The game currently includes two open-world neighborhoods, story mode, disguise mechanics, and hacking activities using tools such as NMAP and the Aircrack-ng Suite. Full VR support is available, but VR is not required. Additional neighborhoods, multiplayer modes, progression systems, gadgets, and hacks are described as planned content. Early Access purchases include cosmetic and equipment items scheduled for future updates.
