Our take on Kinetic Edge
The focus on physics challenges gives up conventional racing structure. Progress depends on handling shapes and objects through obstacle courses, while the Gauntlet adds a strict seven-minute limit, one life, and no checkpoints.
What is Kinetic Edge?
Kinetic Edge is a physics-based racing platformer centered on obstacle courses and a selection of shapes and objects.
It supports solo play, playing with friends, and online multiplayer. Race challenges players to pursue the fastest time against friends or other online competitors. Arena has players knock opponents out and remain in a green zone to gain points. Maze uses a procedurally generated layout that changes each time, with the first player to escape winning. Golf is a physics-based crazy golf mode for playing with friends. The Gauntlet lasts seven minutes and allows one life without checkpoints. The game includes several modes and challenges, with further modes and features planned through updates.
