Our take on Endless Winter
The obstacle-course focus keeps the driving centered on navigating hazards and checkpoints, rather than on a broader road-simulation experience. Players looking for extended vehicle-management systems may find the emphasis on courses limiting.
What is Endless Winter?
This driving game follows a courier in a cold future shaped by a war between humans and artificial intelligence.
Story Mode introduces the setting and gameplay as players guide cars across varied terrain and through obstacles placed by robots. Challenge Mode uses a large map with checkpoints, supplies available from a fox store, and time records that can be uploaded for global rankings. Players collect snow fox badges to purchase supplies. Multiplayer Mode offers featured levels for up to five players, online or offline, with car skill options for competing or cooperating. Players can also create challenge maps, share them through Steam Workshop, and download maps made by others. Multiple difficulty settings are available.
