What is Kathy Rain?
Set in the 1990s, Kathy Rain follows a journalism student investigating the unexplained death of her grandfather.
Riding her motorcycle and carrying cigarettes and a notepad, Kathy examines clues connected to her hometown of Conwell Springs. The investigation raises questions about her grandfather’s past, a young artist’s death, and a series of disturbing events involving local residents. The story also addresses Kathy’s own troubled history and personal turmoil. The game presents its mystery through pixel-art visuals in a 4:3 format, more than 4,000 lines of English dialogue with full voice acting, an original soundtrack, and over 40 hand-drawn locations.
