What is KAMLA?
KAMLA is a survival-horror game set in an Indian mansion during the 1980s.
The player takes the role of a priest, or Tantrik, tasked with curing Kamla, a newly married woman possessed by a demon. Exploration centers on uncovering the mansion’s mysteries, solving puzzles, clearing blocked routes, and locating objects needed for the exorcism. Kamla moves through the house and can become hostile, requiring the player to evade her, hide, and protect collected items. The ritual takes place at a holy fire, where the gathered objects are used before a final prayer completes the exorcism. The mansion’s backstory includes Kamla’s loss of sanity and the deaths of several family members.
