Our take on House of Evil
Its defining setup combines a real-world mansion with a darker duplicate realm, while herb mixing, consecrated water and Latin spells support the fight against supernatural forces.
What is House of Evil?
This first-person survival horror game follows an ordinary man searching for his wife, an exorcist, after an unusual telephone conversation.
His search leads to an old mansion where four horsemen of the apocalypse have possessed its owners. The game includes more than 40 rooms across two floors, a cellar, a cemetery and a second world that copies the real world in a darker form. Players solve puzzles, study spells in Latin, consecrate water and combine herbs to create potions. Five herbs can be found: wormwood, yarrow, St. John’s wort, basil and blagovonia. The potions include one that restores health and another that weakens enemies’ immunity.
