What is House of Evil 2?
House of Evil 2 is a first-person survival horror game set in the Zaklyuchye mansion.
Two years after Max’s friends and the mansion’s tenants disappeared, he returns to investigate after dreaming that Michael is calling for help. The house has been looted and left to decay. Players solve puzzles, learn spells in Latin, and search for clues about the disappearance. Spirits can be defeated only with Latin spells, while demons can be killed with weapons. Max can also hide from enemies. The mansion contains seals, boxes, and pentagram snares, alongside an unusual banishment mechanic. Its setting is based on a real mansion in the Tver region.
