Our take on Journey to Incrementalia
Rather than centering on direct combat encounters, the game makes accumulation the main structure: mana, minions, skills, and upgrades build toward each wall. Its 99-wall objective and resettable builds replace a conventional sequence of varied battles with repeated progression and experimentation.
What is Journey to Incrementalia?
Play as a necromancer on a short quest to reach the lost city of Incrementalia by destroying 99 walls.
Gather mana, upgrade abilities, cast spells, summon infernal minions, and combine skills, items, and abilities through an incremental auto-battler structure. The skill tree contains more than 100 options, including spells, minions, items, and abilities, and can be reset at any time for different builds. Side quests introduce Bonesley, a skeleton minion, while the story has a defined ending. New Game+ modes, legendary items, and prestige abilities add further progression. The game also includes a dark fantasy soundtrack inspired by DOS-era classics.
