Our take on Internet Court
Courtroom games usually assign one legal role and present a serious case structure. This one turns the format into live-action comedy, lets the player change sides and judge proceedings, and bases its trials on online disputes.
What is Internet Court?
Internet Court is a live-action comedy courtroom game set in a virtual court where trials are broadcast online.
It presents four cases based on internet conflicts, including a friendship breakup, harmful fanfiction, misleading advertising, and hostile reviews. Across these scenarios, players take the parts of prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge, making decisions and solving puzzles as each case develops. The cast includes the developers, their mothers, an actress, and a baby. The game also allows the judge’s gavel to be used at any time, regardless of the current courtroom role. Its characters include an inexperienced prosecutor, a former prosecutor turned defense attorney, and a judge who works from home.
