Our take on Guilty as Sock!
The focus on improvised social chaos sacrifices courtroom consistency: judges and players can interrupt, mock, discard questionable evidence, and push proceedings toward unscripted disorder rather than measured legal play.
What is Guilty as Sock!?
Guilty as Sock!
is an online party game set in a chaotic courtroom, where players take roles such as lawyer, prosecutor, judge, witness, bailiff, journalist, or juror. Prosecutors make accusations while lawyers use evidence cards to defend themselves or ridicule the accused. Players can interrupt arguments, throw paper balls, and mock opponents while trying to influence the verdict. Judges manage speaking turns, discipline disruptive lawyers, and reject evidence. Witnesses provide facts, journalists can create up to 3 news articles per trial for use as evidence, and jurors vote guilty or not guilty with buzzers while drawing on slates. Sessions focus on improvisation, role play, and social disorder among friends or strangers.
