Our take on Inout
Rather than centering on combat or a fixed sequence of encounters, Inout structures its horror around completing exorcism tasks while tracking danger. Randomized object locations, locked doors, traps, and enemy behavior also change the setup between sessions.
What is Inout?
Inout is a cooperative horror game about a team of exorcists investigating an old mansion in Madyland.
Players perform a ritual by completing tasks, monitoring indicators, exploring the map, and avoiding threats. Audio cues, including a racing-heart signal, indicate when the possessed is nearby; 3D audio can help locate it. The game supports solo play and cooperative sessions for up to 4 players, with online servers and built-in voice chat. As the ritual progresses, conditions become more dangerous, and Nightmare Mode presents a harder challenge. Each session randomizes ritual-object locations, locked doors, traps, and the possessed character’s behavior. The map also offers different strategies for completing missions.
