Our take on Inner Voices
The defining structure is a procedurally generated maze paired with a branching narrative, so both the route and the ending can change between playthroughs.
What is Inner Voices?
A bleak adventure with horror influences draws on H.
P. Lovecraft and E. A. Poe. John Blake regains consciousness in a strange location with no memory of how he arrived, while an enigmatic voice leads him through an unfamiliar realm. A randomly assembled maze of chambers contains logic challenges of varying difficulty. As Blake seeks an escape and pieces together his history, additional voices disturb his journey, and decisions may determine which characters die. The narrative branches through reversals and player choices toward five possible conclusions. A somber musical score, layered sound work, and shifting routes shape the game’s unsettling mood.
