Our take on IMMORTALITY
Instead of using a conventional level sequence, the game makes recovered film footage the main space for exploration. Scene-to-scene visual matching replaces ordinary navigation, while the mystery emerges from assembling material across three unfinished productions.
What is IMMORTALITY?
Investigate the disappearance of film actor Marissa Marcel through footage from three unreleased movies.
The game presents an interactive trilogy spanning decades of movie history, including Ambrosio, Minsky, and Two of Everything. Players move between scenes by matching visual connections, choosing their own route through the recovered material. The footage follows Marcel across different roles and productions: a Gothic adaptation, a thriller about an artist’s death, and a story about a pop star and her double. The central mystery concerns why the films were never released and what happened to Marcel. Exploration of the clips forms the main structure, with discoveries built from navigating links between scenes.
