Is Immortal Planet worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action RPG players who want patience and stamina management to matter more than rapid reflexes
- Players who enjoy recovering lost experience after death instead of losing all progression
- Exploration-focused players who want shortcuts, equipment, spells, and story mysteries
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking forgiving combat may hit a wall when repeated deaths and demanding boss encounters become central to progression
- Players looking for fast, reflex-driven action may struggle with stamina management and deliberately paced fights
- Players wanting a broad open-world structure may find the single-checkpoint level design restrictive
Our take on Immortal Planet
The bounce point arrives when combat demands stamina control and deliberate timing at the same time. Players who rely on rapid attacks or reflexes alone may stall against enemies that can be stunned only after their stamina is depleted, then face the same pressure again in multi-stage boss fights.
What is Immortal Planet?
Immortal Planet is an action RPG set on an icy world filled with ruined tombs, reborn immortals, and warriors whose minds have deteriorated over time.
Players explore interconnected areas built around single checkpoints, opening shortcuts as they advance. Combat emphasizes patience, stamina management, blocking, dodging, and tackling rather than reflexes alone. Enemy stamina can be observed and exploited to stun exhausted foes. Defeated enemies provide Experiences for character upgrades, while recovered lost Experiences prevent death from erasing progress. Items, spells, and weapons support different character setups. Each level ends with a powerful boss featuring a multi-stage encounter, and repeated deaths form part of the progression through the planet's mysteries.
