Our take on Hovership Havoc
Instead of keeping every encounter in a fixed top-down format, the game shifts to third-person combat for its giant robotic bosses. Its run structure also combines randomized rooms, enemy patterns, and ability drops with progression that carries between playthroughs.
What is Hovership Havoc?
Hovership Havoc is a science-fiction twin-stick shooter set in robotic factories.
Players clear rooms filled with robotic enemies, using one of four hoverships with distinct weapons and statistics. Levels are randomly assembled from hundreds of room and enemy-pattern combinations. Abilities can be collected during runs, while ORBs improve hovership statistics and abilities. Each hovership also retains progression between playthroughs. The game includes more than 30 abilities, over 15 enemy types, and three factory environments. Standard combat uses a top-down view, while giant boss encounters switch to a third-person perspective. Keyboard and mouse or controller input are supported.
