Our take on Parallel
Its defining detail is the branching choice structure: a brief conversational response can redirect the story, while some changes arise from decisions made without deliberate intent.
What is Parallel?
Parallel is an action RPG adventure set in a parallel world with a new civilization.
Players explore environments ranging from mystical and idyllic areas to confined and destroyed locations. The protagonist wakes in a strange situation and investigates the unfamiliar world while trying to understand what happened. Choices made during conversations and elsewhere can alter the plot, with small decisions producing major changes in the character’s path. Some decisions may happen unconsciously. The game combines exploration, action and role-playing elements with a story that can develop differently across playthroughs. Its environments, characters and story mysteries form the central experience, while the viewpoint can be first-person or third-person.
How Parallel plays

Parallel compared to similar games
Parallel centers on exploring a parallel civilization and changing the plot through decisions. Ghost of a Tale instead follows a mouse minstrel in an animal-only medieval world, with stealth, disguises and conversations forming part of its adventure.
