Our take on Hodgepodge Hunch
Rather than centering on combat or conventional dungeon rewards, the game turns exploration into a cooking task and places a hidden traitor inside the preparation process. Its central conflict unfolds through shared meal-making, suspicion, and sabotage.
What is Hodgepodge Hunch?
Hodgepodge Hunch combines dungeon ingredient gathering, hotpot cooking, and social deduction.
Players join either the Staff or the Spies. Staff members search dungeons for ingredients and charms, then prepare a dish while trying to prevent forbidden ingredients from entering the pot. They can ban suspected players, limiting their contributions. Spies work against the Staff by hiding forbidden ingredients and spreading misleading rumors. Up to four players can participate, with CPUs filling open places. CPUs also appear in Tutorials and Solo Mode, where players can practice without assembling a group. The story follows Cocotte, a former hero working at a hotpot shop and competing in a festival while demons, stalkers, and assassins invade the premises.
