Our take on Epicure
The short 2-minute day structure keeps the focus on rapid kitchen decisions, but it leaves less room for slow planning or extended restaurant operations. Early access also means the current feature set is smaller than the developer's intended final version.
What is Epicure?
Epicure puts players in charge of a burger restaurant, where they cook patties, prepare drinks, assemble meals, and serve customers, including food critics and other important guests.
Each day lasts 2 minutes, with different events occurring across days. Restaurant earnings can be spent in a shop on new ingredients, ingredient upgrades, and kitchen color changes. The game also includes a multiplayer grid mode for two teams. Teammates work together to complete orders, while the first team to finish the grid wins. Available food components include buns, cheese, meat, lettuce, and tomatoes. Epicure is in early access, and the developer notes that it currently has fewer features than the planned final version.
